Let me Introduce you ...

... to Andy Hallett

This is the funny name I chose for this special event, a day to celebrate that 18 years ago Hush was first released (Decemeber 14th).

Since the moment I knew and saw Andy was an extra at the episode of Season 4. I admit that I see it now with with a slightly different colour.

Season 4 of Buffy is actually one my favourite seasons of Buffy. I always thought her relationship with Angel kind of toxic and purely romantic and intense, but harmful. In this season she finally gets some different love interest and though there are many opinions about if Riley was good or not for Buffy, the truth is that he helped her to go through the tortuous path of forgetting the love of her life because they can't be together...

Next December 30th, Saturday, at 1.30pm UK time, we are watching and commenting this episode the site. This would be so much fun and the kickstart will be my Twitter Live (Only Twitter, this time!) showing the exact moment and point where Andy shows up as an extra. Afterwards, we can spend the rest of the 30 minutes of the episode watching and commenting the awesomeness of Joss Whedon creating this and sharing our favourites.

Angela's experience with Andy is something I can relate a lot to. If I ever had the chance to meet Andy, it would have probably been kinda similar. I thank her for sharing and sending all the photos. Please enjoy reading: " Back in 2005, I had attended my first convention. It was a Wizard World convention in Chicago, and I went for one reason, and one reason only: Amber Benson. Amber played Tara from my favorite TV show Buffy, and at the time I had just learned that these sorts of things even existed. So when I heard about it, obviously I had to go. So I went, met Amber, and it was amazing. I was hooked! Needless to say, when I was reading my Buffy & Angel magazines and seeing ads about official conventions for JUST Buffy and Angel, I knew I had to find one close enough that I could attend. And that would end up being the Motor City Buffy Con in Ypsilanti Michigan. The first ad I ever saw for the convention, before Andy was even added to the guest list! I can...

What a stupid thing made my day!!

What I weird week I'm having. It's something between "Yeah I'm getting my goals" and " No, not yet. I'm not ready to be in the spotlight". Something between personal and proffesional goals. And it does scare a bit. The good one was, as I tell you now: I was this morning watching this video of "Why you should watch Angel" and thinking "I have to tag Netflix on this one, they have to show this up". My husband meanwhile was right behind me. I didn't know why. I thought he was also watching the video, but when Lorne come up on it I begged silence in the room. I didn't notice there was something else waiting to be reached by me. So after all, I looked at my husband and he said " I have a surprise for you". Just in the table, right in front me the most awesome keyring ever. What such stupid thing made my day!!! Now my keys look cool and heartfelt. Even with a touch of green... You might heard a rumour that I want to build a community around Andy Hallett. Yes, that little one that he used to have back in the day. Is there anything better than having a site where you can vent yourself and share moments, laughs and cons with other people that feel exact the same?. I can tell there is not.
